The Earth, our shared home. A reminder of the essential connection between education, ecosystems and the way we live in the world.
Our association
Terra Colibris is a French association governed by the law of 1901. Its purpose is to help a new generation become skilled, responsible and independent through the creation of schools that can serve as examples. Vanona is the school project it is preparing in Madagascar.

The association coordinates preparations for Vanona: defining the educational project, finding a local setting and partners, bringing together skills and preparing funding. Its members, based in France, Madagascar and elsewhere in Europe, have experience in education, management and community development.

Hummingbirds: a symbol of everyone doing their part. An invitation to turn small contributions into a collective force.
The board of directors guides the association and makes decisions collectively. Specific mandates distribute the responsibilities needed to run the association. Members pool their skills to prepare projects, coordinate their work and monitor progress together.
Annual accounts provide a record of the association’s resources and how they are used. The accounts are submitted to the general assembly for approval. Members and donors are informed about the use of funds.

Our team
